Alextria Franklin

Lexi is very excited and proud of being a part of DCBD Dance Academy. She’s danced most of her life. Lexi was captain of her drill team at Benjamin O. Davis High School for 3 years. Then attended Texas A&M Corpus University majoring in Dance/Theatre Arts while apart of the Islanders Dance Team there. She’s a very Jazzy, Outgoing, Experienced Young lady. Shes done various of dance styles such as Jazz, Contemporary, Majorette, Modern, Ballet, liturgical, hip-hop, and tumbling skills. She’s been apart of prominent organizations like Theatre Under The Stars and Humphreys School of Business. She is an avid dancer, has leads shows and competitions while performing on various professional dance troupes like Motown Revue Dancing In The Streets and touring with local artists like Tobe Nwigwe. Organizer of The Diamond Sparklettes, Coaching For Dance Infinity Movement, Aldine performing Arts program, Young Artistic Performers (Y.A.P., Inc.), D3 Elite Dance and many more. Performing on stage is quite a true pleasure. Lexi also enjoys volunteering at community centers, and being active. Dance is life, and always will be!
